  • Personally I used the RINGs 1st doorbell and installed them with the RING chime that's also a range extender. I have 5 ring doorbells wired and though it's all the same chime (you select sound) it chimes and repeats your doorbells name: front door, side door, back door etc. I'm sure the more expensive units would be the same connected on the chime.
